Event Photographer - 2025 REVEL Big Bear Marathon & Half
Category: Photography Date: Nov. 8, 2025 Location: Big Bear, California Hours: 6 Pay: $250 # Positions Available: 8 out of 12 REVEL Big Bear is seeking photographers for November 8th, 2025 in Big Bear, California to shoot participants at various locations along the event route as well as the finish line area.

Shifts may report as early as 5:00am and as late as 7:00am. Expect up to 6 hours of shooting and drive time (may be shorter shift, times are subject to change).

Event Photographer - 2025 Decker Challenge
Category: Photography Date: Dec. 7, 2025 Location: Austin, TX Hours: 4 Pay: 200 # Positions Available: 3 out of 3 The Decker Challenge by Austin Runners Club is seeking photographers for our December 7, 2025 event. Subject to your assigned position, photographers will be capturing action along the course and at the finish line area as runners cross.
Shifts will be around four hours long, with photographers reporting at 7:30 AM. Shifts may be shorter or longer, and report times are subject to change.
Photographers must provide their own transportation and camera. We will provide the SD/CF card. Payment will be given via direct payment following your shift.

Social Media Specialist
Brooksee is a fast-growing endurance event company committed to elevating the event experience for endurance athletes. We currently operate the Las Vegas Marathon, Mesa Marathon, Phoenix Marathon, Portland Marathon, and the REVEL Race Series which comprises three marathon and half marathon events across the U.S.
We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our talented team. Potential candidates should have experience and education in marketing, communications, social media, or related fields and have a passion for building a brand through engaging social media content. Experience working with influencers and/or brand ambassadors is preferred. This is the perfect job for the marketing/social media guru who enjoys the active lifestyle and sporting industry.
This is a paid full-time position with a hybrid work schedule out of our offices in Pleasant Grove, UT. Position Duties
- Create content calendars and schedule social media content across the major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Assist in content creation (photo, video, and copy) for multiple social media platforms and accounts, with short form video content being the primary focus.
- Conduct trend forecasting for all of the above social media platforms.
- Engage with social media followers to build community as necessary.
- Assist with the needs of brand ambassadors across Brooksee’s event portfolio to ensure accurate brand representation and successful execution of contracted requirements.
- Track engagement and growth of social media posts, campaigns, and platforms, and report on performance.
- Participate in brainstorms to generate ideas for new social media and marketing activations and carry out plans in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Assist in conceptualizing and executing marketing campaigns through email and online platforms as needed.
- Assist in marketing race assets, products, apparel and merchandise as needed.
- Attend expos of other events where needed as an ambassador of Brooksee races.
In addition to the duties listed above, this position may include performing other tasks as assigned. The successful applicant will be expected to travel multiple times per year to assist in event production.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in social media management
- Thorough knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
- Experience creating short form video content for a brand
- Experience in organic social media growth (particularly Instagram and TikTok)
- Effective communication, presenting, and writing skills
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude, commitment to succeed, and willingness to go above and beyond
Bonus Skills
- Endurance athlete preferred
- Experience working with influencers and/or ambassadors
- Graphics and/or digital illustration experience
- Photography and photo editing
- Videography and editing (for shortform video content)

Volunteer Coordinator
Brooksee is a fast-growing endurance event company committed to elevating the event experience for endurance athletes. We own and operate the REVEL Race Series, Portland Marathon, Mesa Marathon, Phoenix Marathon and the Las Vegas Marathon.
As the Volunteer Coordinator for Brooksee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our race events by recruiting, coordinating, and managing volunteers. You will be responsible for sourcing and securing volunteers both as individuals and groups, ensuring that our events run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to engage and motivate volunteers to contribute their time and skills to support runners and the overall race experience.
Volunteers are the backbone of our race events and the Volunteer Coordinator position is essential to ensuring volunteer needs are effectively planned for, coordinated, and executed. The Volunteer Coordinator position will be responsible for fulfilling volunteer needs across various segments throughout the race week, including but not limited to race packet assembly, race packet pick up, start and finish line support, aid station support, course marshaling, and event cleanup. The Volunteer Coordinator will also oversee specialty volunteer positions, such as pacers, lead cyclists, and sag vehicle drivers. Applicants should email their resume to jobs@brooksee.com.

Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Recruitment:
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers for race running events.
- Utilize various channels such as social media, community organizations, schools, and online platforms to attract volunteers.
- Actively engage with potential volunteers to communicate the benefits of volunteering with our organization.
- Volunteer Coordination:
- Determine and plan volunteer needs based on race week operations and functions.
- Assign roles and responsibilities to volunteers based on their skills, interests, and availability.
- Develop a schedule for volunteer shifts and ensure adequate coverage for all event activities.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to volunteers regarding their duties and expectations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers before, during, and after events, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Volunteer Management:
- Maintain a database of volunteers including their contact information, availability, and skills.
- Regularly communicate with volunteers to keep them informed of race day details, position responsibilities, and any training materials or resources.
- Oversee race day volunteer operations, evaluate performance, and provide feedback or implement action plans to improve operational effectiveness.
- Gather feedback from volunteers at the conclusion of the event and determine opportunities for improvement.
- Recognize and appreciate the contributions of volunteers through various forms of acknowledgment and appreciation.
- Group Volunteer Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with local organizations, schools, corporations, and community groups to recruit volunteer groups.
- Coordinate with group leaders to facilitate their involvement in our events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Develop tailored opportunities for group volunteering that align with their interests and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in volunteer coordination or event management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across channels (ie. in-person, online, email, phone).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (ie. Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar).
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and group management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Passion for promoting community engagement and supporting charitable causes.
- Ability to routinely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds is preferred.
