Partly cloudy Course: Beautiful views of Cable Mountain as runners entered the finish. Steady uphill with a few big climbs, with a net elevation gain of nearly 500 feet.

Consistency Shines Through Annika Anderson demonstrated impressive consistency during the 2025 Vacation Races | Zion Half Marathon. Starting strong, she picked up her pace steadily over the first few miles, improving from a 10:07 to a swift 9:05 min/mile by mile 2. Her overall pacing remained steady, maintaining an average 9:39 min/mile throughout the race. Annika’s best split came between miles 1 and 2, highlighting her capability to push early. Despite a slight slowdown in the final miles, Annika maintained solid placement throughout, finishing 235th out of 1404 participants overall, 105th in her gender, and an impressive 23rd in her division for females aged 25-29. This consistency reflects her strong endurance and determination. Future races could benefit from steady pacing in the latter stages to capitalize on her strong start.
