Over the past several months our staff has been working diligently with local officials and we have been optimistic that the Portland Marathon could go on as planned; however, with continued COVID-19 spikes and tightening restrictions, it has become evident that we will not be allowed to produce the event. The 2020 Portland Marathon and related events have been cancelled.

All registered participants have received an email providing detailed instructions regarding their options. An option must be selected no later than Friday, August 14th. 

The Portland Marathon looks forward to producing next year's race on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
