Consistent Top Performance with a Powerful Finish Rene Gonzalez, 28, from Seattle, WA, demonstrated remarkable consistency at the 2025 Tenacious 10 event. Maintaining a steady pace below 6:20 min/mile in nearly all splits, he achieved an impressive average pace of 6:05 min/mile over the 10.12-mile course. Early in the race, Rene maintained positions 8 and 9 overall, then climbed to 6th position by the 3-mile mark, dominating his age division throughout. Notably, Rene finished strong, logging his fastest split pace of 5:24 min/mile during miles 9 and 10. This remarkable spike in pace contributed to his first-place finish in the M20-29 division.
