Maintaining a consistent pace, his overall pace was 6:45 min/mile. Notably, he ranked 1st in the Male Masters 40+ division, demonstrating significant skill among his peers. Out of 271 total participants, Joshua secured the 7th place overall, showing commendable performance. In particular, Joshua's second mile stood out with a split of 6:35 min/mile, his fastest during the race and a strategic boost in his performance. It appears that the first and third miles were somewhat slower at 6:58 and 6:55 min/mile respectively. For future races, focusing on maintaining that second mile intensity across all splits might improve his overall performance even further.
