Dominant Performance in Pearland Half Marathon Samay Garg delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 Pearland Half Marathon, maintaining the first-place position throughout the race. With an impressive overall time of 1:13:14, Samay achieved a consistent average pace of 5:35 min/mile across the 13.1-mile course. Highlighted by a strong start, Samay clocked a swift 5:36 for the opening mile and maintained a solid split time below 5:45 for most of the race, showing remarkable pacing skills. Each split reflected Samay's ability to hold the lead, marked by the successful execution of a negative split strategy between miles 2 (5:16) and 3 (5:42). Closing with a 5:40 for the final mile, Samay captured the top spot overall, within the male gender, and in the division category against 260 participants. Going forward, exploring strategies to further optimize pacing consistency could enhance performance even more in future races.
