Exceptional Performance with Progressing Speed and Impressive Finish Kimberly Merritt from Friendswood, TX, showcased an impressive performance at the 2025 Pearland Half Marathon 10K event. Starting with a solid 7:51 min/mile pace, Kimberly consistently improved her speed as the race progressed. Her pace quickened to 7:12 min/mile by the second mile and reached an admirable 6:59 min/mile by the fourth mile. This consistent improvement in split times demonstrates her strategic pacing and endurance. Kimberly's overall elapsed time was 45:07, achieving a remarkable 7:16 min/mile pace over the 6.2 miles. Her efforts earned her the top position in both her gender and division categories, ranking first among female participants and achieving an overall second place.
