Steady Pace and Impressive Finish in Age Group Pedro Gutierrez, representing Contractors Warehouse, delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. His overall time was 1:40:01, translating to a commendable pace of 7:38 min/mile. Throughout the 13.1 miles, his pacing consistency was evident, especially between miles 2 to 10, where most of his splits fluctuated between 7:23 and 7:43 min/mile. Notably, Pedro excelled in the M60-64 division, securing the 6th position. Pedro's most rapid mile was logged at a pace of 7:04 during the third mile, showcasing a swift improvement from the starting pace of 8:02. Despite a slight slowdown during mile 11 at 8:15, he managed to regain momentum in the final stretches. Encouragingly, maintaining a consistent pace over such a distance is commendable. In future races, focusing on sustaining this momentum through the latter stages could further optimize results.
