Consistent Pace with a Strong Division Finish Sebastian Rivera showed promising consistency throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 10K event. Starting with an initial pace of 8:09 min/mile, he gradually improved during the race. His best performance came during the third mile with a split time of 7:41, registering a 7:57 min/mile pace overall for that section. Notably, this was where he improved his division standing to 2nd place in M20-24, showcasing peak performance. While maintaining a steady average pace of 8:09 min/mile overall, Sebastian secured 3rd place in his division (M20-24). Out of 340 participants, he finished strong, placing 24th overall. There was a slight slowdown during the 4th and 5th miles with an identical split pace of 8:36 min/mile. Targeting consistency post mile three can enhance results in future races.
