Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Sheila Castillo demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout her half marathon at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach race. Starting with a 10:20 min/mile pace, Sheila quickly picked up speed, clocking her fastest mile at 9:03 min/mile by Mile 3. Her split times hovered around the 9:40 to 9:45 min/mile mark for much of the race, showcasing a steady pace. Sheila's performance saw a slight deceleration towards the end, with the last few miles ranging from 10:17 to 10:58 min/mile splits. Finishing the 13.1-mile event with a final time of 2:10:50, Sheila held an average pace of 9:59 min/mile. She placed 389th overall in her gender and 74th in her division (F30-34) out of 1697 participants.
