Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Ronaldo Gutierrez maintained a balanced pace throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:44 min/mile for the first mile, he progressively improved, reaching a consistent pace close to 9:00 min/mile in the latter stages. Standout miles include mile 4 with an impressive 8:39 min/mile, and an impressive push in mile 12 clocking in at 8:16 min/mile, highlighting his capacity to accelerate as the race progressed. Notably, he improved his position in the M25-29 division, moving from 56th place to 46th. Overall, Ronaldo placed 523rd out of 1697 participants. As a participant with the Skidrowrunningclub, maintaining a consistent pace paid off well. While his pacing was mostly sound, focusing on maintaining a more consistent pace in the early miles may further enhance his final timings in future races. Keep building on that final surge, as it shows major promise.
