Consistent Pace Leads to Victory Christine Bjelland delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 10K. Covering the distance in 44:19 with a steady pace of 7:08 minutes per mile, Christine secured the top position in her gender and division categories. Her consistent pacing strategy across the course paid off well, with strong early splits at 7:06, then 7:01, and an outstanding 6:38 mile in her third split. These efforts contributed significantly to maintaining her lead among female competitors. As seen in the later stages of the race, Christine's pace slightly dropped to 7:21 and 7:39 in the fourth and fifth miles, followed by a slight recovery to 7:12 in the last mile. However, maintaining her position overall and leading her category throughout the race illustrates her strong mental and physical stamina. For future races, focusing on sustaining the high mid-race momentum could further enhance her performance, possibly extending her achievements even further.
