Steady Progress and Notable Splits Mark Eric's Performance Eric Coggins demonstrated consistency and endurance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, completing the 26.2-mile race in 5:24:16 at an average pace of 12:22 min/mile. Eric maintained a fairly steady pace throughout, with splits primarily in the 11 to 13-minute range. Notably, between miles 11 and 13, Eric picked up the pace, clocking a few sub-12-minute miles, with splits of 10:30 and 10:45, which are significantly faster than his average pace. Positioned at 22nd in the M65-69 division and finishing 957th among 1,280 participating males, Eric's experience and pacing strategy reflect a solid performance. While there was a slight slowdown towards the latter part of the race, maintaining splits mostly close to the initial pace is commendable.
