Luke started the race with a fast first mile in 5:49 and displayed impressive speed, clocking several sub-6:00 miles, and held his pace well. Though there was a slight decrease in pace between miles 11 and 13, the early speed helped maintain a competitive edge. Continuing to build on the strong early splits while working on sustained pacing towards the end could further enhance future outcomes.
