Steady Progression with a Strong Finish Nathan Stifler, representing the MEP RACETEAM, completed the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon with a final time of 1:26:09. Demonstrating consistent pacing throughout, he achieved an overall average pace of 6:34 min/mile. Starting at a solid pace of 6:47 min/mile for the first mile, Nathan managed to gradually improve, with his quickest pace of 6:12 min/mile in the final mile. This consistent strategy resulted in an impressive 25th place overall out of 1,697 participants, securing the 5th spot in his age group (M30-34). Nathan's performance had remarkable highlights in individual splits, particularly the 9th mile at a pace of 6:20 min/mile and the 11th and 12th miles both at 6:19 min/mile. Maintaining strong finishes in the last miles suggests effective energy management and pacing strategy. Slightly boosting his initial speed could further enhance early race positioning.
