Consistent Performance with Strategic Acceleration Alexander maintained a strong and consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. Starting with a steady 6:30 min/mile for the first two miles, he gradually improved his splits. By mile 5, he was clocking in at an impressive 6:20 min/mile, and mile 11 saw him achieve his fastest split at 5:59 min/mile. Notably, his strategic pacing saw him jump to 15th overall by mile 9 and eventually finishing 17th overall out of 2277 participants. His placement remained strong throughout the race, ultimately securing 8th in his division (M25-29) and 17th among all male participants. An area for potential development could be the final stretch of the race, where splits slightly dipped to around 6:44 min/mile by mile 26. Overall, Alexander demonstrated commendable consistency, showcasing his ability to maintain a sub 6:15 min/mile over the marathon distance. Keep building on this foundation for future success.
