Steady Progression with Strong Finishing Kick Jack Williams, 24, from Ventura, CA, delivered a consistent and determined performance across the "2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon." Jack maintained a steady pace through the entire race, progressing from a 9:29 min/mile in the first two miles to an 8:58 min/mile towards the finish. Notably, at the 9th mile, there was a marked improvement as he clocked an 8:53 min/mile, which remained consistent through mile 10. This ability to maintain a relatively stable pacing strategy over 26.2 miles demonstrates Jack's strong endurance capacity. Analyzing his splits, Jack's strongest segments occurred in miles 11 and 13, each with paces under 8:45 min/mile, highlighting his capability for a strong mid-race push after establishing an initial rhythm.
