Strong Start with Balanced Splits Nathaniel Lytle delivered a solid performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. Consistently maintaining an average pace of 7:33 min/mile, Nathaniel started strong with his fastest mile in 6:59. Over the course of the race, he navigated through slight variations in pacing, with mile times ranging from 6:59 to 8:28. He reached mile 3 with an impressive elapsed time of 21:29, showcasing his steady pace and endurance early in the race. In the latter half, some longer split times appeared, notably during miles 11 (8:21) and 12 (8:28). This may suggest a need to focus on sustaining early pacing over longer distances in training. Despite this, Nathaniel finished with an overall time of 1:39:06, placing him 14th in his age division (M40-44).
