His splits reveal a steady performance, starting with a pace of 6:44 min/mile over the first two miles, gradually improving to a consistent pace below 6:30 min/mile from miles 10 to 26. His strongest mile was mile 22, clocking in at a pace of 6:01 min/mile, highlighting his ability to maintain and even increase speed toward the end of the race. His final result of 2:46:42 placed him in the top 20 of both overall and gender categories out of 2,277 participants, finishing 9th in the M25-29 division. Notably, he was able to increase his place from 85th at the beginning to 21st mid-race, demonstrating strong endurance and a strategic push. For future races, sustaining early paces like 6:21-6:36 min/mile could yield even stronger overall results.
