Consistent Pacing with Varied Split Performance Arun Khanna delivered a steady performance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon with an overall time of 4:26:41. His average pace was 10:10 min/mile across the 26.2-mile course. Despite variations in split times, Arun managed to maintain a consistent overall pace. Notably, he achieved his fastest mile on splits 9, 10, and 11, each at a pace of 9:44 min/mile. Throughout the race, Arun was part of OmRun and placed 57th in his M55-59 division out of a total of 2277 participants. In reviewing Arun’s splits, there was a noticeable positive trend in pace improvement through the early to middle stages. However, the latter portions, like split 25, saw an increase in split time to 10:39 min/mile, suggesting a potential area of focus for the final push. With these insights, future training can aim at maintaining stamina and speed in the concluding miles for even greater success.
