Consistent Splits, Strong Finish Abby Awe tackled the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon with a final time of 1:49:57. She demonstrated consistent pace throughout with an average of 8:23 min/mile. Notably, her final mile was her fastest at an 8:06 pace. Abby’s overall performance placed her 24th in the F30-34 division, 123rd among female participants, and 329th overall, out of 1697 total participants. Her splits show a strategic balance, maintaining just above an 8:20 per mile pace for most of the race. Abby managed to gain positions in later segments, reflecting her ability to hold a strong pace when others may have been slowing. Focus could potentially be put on maintaining more evenly paced splits across the middle section to enhance competitiveness, particularly in the female category standings, where she secured a respectable finish.
