Consistent Start with a Strong Finish Tom Kalmikov, a 30-year-old runner from Ventura, CA, participated in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, covering the 26.2 miles with an overall time of 4:07:46, yielding an average pace of 9:27 minutes per mile. Tom maintained a consistent pace in the first half of the race, holding steady with splits hovering around 9:52-9:17 minutes per mile through mile 15, showcasing good early pacing discipline.
