Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Ashley maintained a commendably consistent pace in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon, with an overall time of 2:08:03. Throughout the 13.1-mile race, her average pace clocked in at 9:46 min/mile. Her positions shifted slightly, finishing 737th overall out of 1697 participants and 14th in her division (F55-59) out of 14 competitors. She upheld a steady rhythm, notably improving between miles 2 and 4, where her pace dropped from 9:26 to 9:15 min/mile. Ashley demonstrated resilience, particularly in mile 3 with a strong split time of 8:53. However, there was a noticeable deceleration at mile 5, recording her slowest split of 13:17 min/mile. Encouragingly, she regained her pace by mile 6 with a recovery to 9:16 min/mile. Continued focus on maintaining energy throughout the mid-race section could further enhance her performance in future events.
