Steady Performance and Strong Finish Jeannette executed a steady race at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. Starting each of the initial miles consistently, she maintained a pace between 8:54 and 8:58 min/mile. Notably, her pace tightened progressively, with her overall elapsed pace speeding up to 8:36 min/mile by the race’s end. Her most drastic improvement came between miles 20-24, where she consistently improved her pace without any significant drop-offs, showcasing a strong finish. Jeannette completed the 26.2 mile course in 3:45:20. Ranking 787th out of 2277 participants overall and 254th among female competitors, Jeannette also secured 32nd in the F45-49 division. Her placement reflects consistency and determination, with her performance noticeably improving organizationally towards the latter sections of the marathon. She can revisit her pacing strategy for the middle section of the race, as a more consistent pace there could enhance her overall ranking further.
