Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Despite Late Slowdown Omar Eslao of Santa Clarita had a stellar performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. Maintaining a solid average pace of 7:34 min/mile, Omar displayed remarkable consistency throughout the race. Notably, he completed the 5th and 6th miles with his fastest pace splits of 7:17 min/mile. His position in the Male 45-49 division saw him steadily holding between the 21st and 36th spots, concluding with a notable 26th place. The splits reveal that Omar started strong and maintained his pace effectively until mile 21, exhibiting slight fluctuations in placement but retaining top 30 division positions consistently. The final miles displayed a minor challenge, with pace reductions to 8:01 and 8:05 min/mile in the 25th and 26th miles. Focusing on finishing pace could enhance future results.
