Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Propel Runner Evelyn Wille's performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon showcased her steady pacing and ability to maintain focus throughout the race. Her splits reveal a disciplined approach, starting with a 10:11 min/mile pace and progressively speeding up to achieve an overall race pace of 9:37 min/mile. Notably, from mile 8 onwards, she consistently ran sub-10 minute miles, with her fastest split at mile 8 clocking in at 8:57 min/mile. Evelyn's final time of 2:06:02 placed her 12th in the F19 and Under division, among a field of 1,697 participants overall. From her initial position at the halfway point, she improved standings, particularly notable after mile 3, where her rank climbed from 20th to 12th in her division by the end. Considering her gradual improvement in both pace and position, focusing on maintaining speed buildup in early stages could further enhance her performance.
