Effort Maintained, Opportunity to Adaptive Pacing Dehau Chen completed the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon in a time of 2:29:59, averaging an 11:26 min/mile pace. Her performance showed consistent pacing between miles 2 and 10, staying close to an 11:05-11:18 min/mile pace. Notably, at mile 4, she achieved her fastest split at 10:33 min/mile. Toward the latter part of the race, Dehau's pacing slightly slowed, particularly at mile 11 with a split pace of 13:04 min/mile. Despite this, she managed to finish in the top third of the overall participant field. Dehau's position in the F50-54 division was 38th. This consistency in the split times over the course shows good stamina and effort. It might be beneficial to focus on pacing strategy in the later miles to help build toward an even finish.
