Consistent Effort with Notable Splits Corey Heimlich maintained a consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. Starting with a 10:48 min/mile pace in the first mile, he held steady with minimal fluctuation around the 11-minute mark for most of the race. Corey's third mile was impressive, with an 11:00 min/mile split time, the quickest segment after the initial mile. Overall, his splits reflected a solid and steady performance. The latter part showed some deceleration, culminating in a final elapsed pace of 11:39 min/mile. By the last mile, Corey managed to pick up the pace slightly, with an 11:35 min/mile split. Corey's consistency paid off as he completed the half marathon in 2:32:43. He placed 40th in his division, an indicator of solid competition currently, with potential to increase from here. For future races, maintaining early-mile paces for longer would help in improving overall time.
