Consistent Pace and Strong Finish in Division Heather Bemis delivered an impressive race performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. Maintaining an overall pace of 6:56 min/mile, Heather demonstrated remarkable consistency across each mile, with her fastest split being 6:45 at mile 4. Her ability to maintain a sub-7-minute pace throughout the race underscores her stamina and steady race strategy. Heather's overall time was 1:31:01, placing her 9th among females and 57th overall out of 1697 participants. Heather excelled in her F35-39 division, securing 1st place in the latter portion of the race from mile 7 onwards. She began the race strong with a 7:04 mile and found her stride, consistently improving her division placement. Opportunities for further improvement include maintaining faster splits like her impressive 6:45 pace during mile 4. Being part of the Silver Lake Track Club, Heather's performance reflects well on her training, and she is well-poised for upcoming races.
