Consistent Pace with Room to Optimize Closing Splits Gordon Kuo demonstrated impressive pacing throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, maintaining a notable average pace of 7:56 min/mile over the 26.2-mile distance. Impressively, he achieved a time of 3:27:59, finishing 517th overall out of 2,277 participants. Displaying strong pacing in the first half, Gordon clocked consistent splits, beginning with an 8:30 min/mile pace and gradually improving to a faster 7:42 min/mile by mile 9. As the race progressed, he maintained his form, particularly strengthening his position midway through with a remarkable split at mile 20, clocking in at 7:40 min/mile.
