Consistent Early Splits, Slowed in Later Stages Heidi Parkhurst completed the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon with a time of 3:05:18, maintaining an overall pace of 14:08 minutes per mile. Initially consistent, she maintained a strong pace between 12:06 and 12:55 minutes per mile in the first five miles. Her best split pace occurred between miles 3 and 4 with a time of 12:06. Her early overall placement began in 1276th and improved to 1065th by mile 3, showing early strength. As the race continued, Heidi's pace gradually slowed, with her split pace ranging from 13:26 to 18:19 minutes per mile in the second half. Despite the pace changes, she ranked 65th in her F40-44 division, a commendable finish. Future emphasis on maintaining consistent pacing throughout could yield improved outcomes. Being part of "The Run-derful Crew" may provide additional motivation and support in future events.
