Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Jake Williams maintained a steady and consistent pace throughout his Half Marathon at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach race. His splits varied slightly, with his fastest mile at 8:48 during his 10th mile. Notably, Jake showed persistence by maintaining an average pace of 9:55 min/mile over the entire 13.1 miles, concluding with an elapsed time of 2:09:59. The data shows improvement in the latter stages of the race. For instance, after a slight deceleration early on, Jake picked up speed from mile 9 onwards, closing strong. His placements across various categories highlight competitive performance, finishing 786th overall out of 1697, and 59th in his division (Men 25-29). Focusing on reducing that early slowdown might be beneficial for even stronger future performances. Nonetheless, the consistent finish demonstrates a solid endurance base.
