Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Lesley Suter demonstrated impressive consistency at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, particularly given the distance. Finishing with an overall time of 3:32:18, she maintained an average pace of 8:06 min/mile across the entire race. Notably, in her division, F40-44, she placed 23rd out of a competitive field. Her performance improved throughout, with eight of the last ten miles completed under a 7:58 min/mile pace, suggesting a strong finish. The initial splits started at a steady pace of 8:29 min/mile for the first two miles. However, from mile 3, Lesley progressively improved her pace. By mile 11, she advanced with a significant split pace of 8:01 and achieved her quickest split pace of 7:45 in the final mile. This steady progression throughout the race indicates room to strategize for future events, focusing on maintaining this end-race speed earlier on. Excellent effort and pacing!
