Consistent Pacing Throughout Race Christine maintained a steady pace in the "2025 Mountains 2 Beach" marathon, starting strong with a 7:23 min/mile pace for the first two miles. Notably, she maintained this pace for much of the race, with minimal fluctuation throughout. Her performance during the middle to late stages of the race was commendable, especially from miles 6 to 14, where she achieved splits between 7:13 and 7:23 min/mile, reflecting her endurance. Christine finished with an overall time of 3:17:01, marking an average pace of 7:31 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Despite a slight slowdown in the later miles, her consistency in pacing overall contributed to her position: 5th in the F45-49 division. Christine showed great stamina and strength throughout the marathon, with areas for slight improvement in the latter stages to maintain pacing. Well done representing the Bakersfield Greyhounds with a strong finish!
