Consistent Pacing with Sturdy Finish Xiaoxue Ma maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, achieving a consistent overall pace of 9:20 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Beginning with an initial mile pace of 9:00 and maintaining a strong pace through the early miles, Xiaoxue demonstrated resilience and consistency, even improving her performance during miles 5 and 6 with an impressive pace of 8:44 min/mile each. While the final splits showed a slight decline, particularly between miles 24 and 26, with paces reaching up to 11:10 min/mile, the overall performance still reflected strong capability. Placing 381st in her gender and 63rd in her F30-34 division against 2,277 participants offers valuable insights. Focusing on maintaining speed in the concluding miles could further Xiaoxue’s performance.
