Consistent and Dazzling Finish Isai showcased remarkable pacing throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. With an overall time of 2:38:47, he maintained an impressive average pace of 6:03 minutes per mile. His consistency is highlighted by minimal fluctuation in his splits, ranging from 6:23 to an impressive 5:41 min/mile. Particularly notable is his strong finish, achieving a subsection-best split of 6:01 on the final mile, contributing to an excellent overall placement of 6th out of 2277 participants and securing 1st place in his division (M30-34). Starting strong, Isai worked his way into a top position early, moving into 15th by the halfway point. Maintaining and even improving his pace in the later stages of the marathon, he strategically pushed into 6th place overall in the final stretch. Isai’s ability to maintain a steady pace while accelerating when needed exemplifies his strength as a competitive runner. Continuing to refine pacing strategy could enhance future performances even further.
