Consistent Pacing and Smooth Finish Grant Chudik from Ventura, CA, delivered a consistent race performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. With an overall time of 1:48:31, he maintained a steady pace throughout, achieving an average mile pace of 8:17. Notably, the majority of his splits were impressively close to this average, including strong miles at 8:09 and 8:12. Grant's strongest improvement was observed between miles 5 and 6, with his standings enhancing considerably, climbing 10 spots overall. Finishing 297th overall out of 1697 participants and placing 28th in his division, Grant exhibited stable pacing and progress. Continuing to focus on maintaining this consistency, perhaps incorporate varied tempo runs to gain speed, particularly in the mid-race section, could enhance future performances.
