Strong Finish and Consistent Pacing Scott Ehrlich from Woodland Hills, CA, showcased a commendable performance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. Throughout the race, Scott displayed a consistent pacing strategy, gradually improving his pace from an initial 8:48 min/mile to as fast as 8:15 min/mile by mile 10. His split at mile 9, clocking in at 6:58, was a standout, revealing his capability for a strong push mid-race. Maintaining an average pace of 9:28 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course, he finished with an overall time of 2:04:09. Scott started strong, particularly in the early and middle sections of the race, where he held onto top spots within his division, M55-59, reaching as high as 9th place early on. Despite some slowing at mile 11 and 12, he managed a decent finish, ranking 17th in his division out of 29. Focusing on managing late-race split times could further enhance future races.
