Consistent Pace with Opportunities for Strategizing Mid-Race Splits Bret Fausett, from Pasadena, CA, completed the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon with a final time of 2:17:30, achieving an overall pace of 10:29 min/mile. As a 61-year-old male, Bret positioned himself 19th in his division. His performance showed consistent pacing despite some variance between early and later miles. Notably, the first mile began on a strong note with a 9:19 min/mile pace, significantly speeding up the start. During the race, steadiness was seen with split paces consistently around 10:20 to 10:30 min/mile.
