Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish in Top 5 During the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon, Khang Luong demonstrated impressive pacing consistency, beginning with steady efforts in the initial miles. He maintained a pace close to 6:29 minutes per mile throughout the first two miles, and then steadily increased his speed to around 6:00 minutes per mile by mile 6. A standout performance in miles 7-10 saw him at a pace of approximately 5:53 minutes per mile, showcasing his ability to pick up speed as the race progressed. Luong's strong performance continued through the latter stages of the marathon, managing to keep his pace under 6:11 minutes per mile. Although he faced a slight slowdown in the final mile, finishing with a split of 6:45, his overall pace for the race was an impressive 6:09 minutes per mile. Despite this slight deceleration, Luong finished 4th in the M25-29 division, highlighting his competitive performance in a field of 2,277 participants. Maintaining a steady pace in the later stages would enhance finishing positions in future races.
