Strong Consistency with Reflective Splits Nelson maintained a commendable pace throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 1:29:03 and an average pace of 6:47 min/mile. He showed particular strength early in the race with his second split time clocking in at 6:38 min/mile, helping him secure the 4th place in his division for that portion. Consistency was a highlight, with most splits remaining under the 7-minute mark. Notably, the fourth split was completed at 6:31 min/mile. While his pacing was admirable, there were slight pace variations observed towards the latter part of the race, especially during the 11th mile with a split of 7:28.
