Steady Pace with Improving Splits Brooke Perras maintained a disciplined approach throughout her marathon with a consistent pace averaging 8:24 min/mile. Her initial splits showed an even pace of 8:41 min/mile before she gradually accelerated. Remarkably, Brooke achieved her fastest split at mile 12 with a pace of 7:56 min/mile, demonstrating a strong mid-race performance. While her pacing was generally consistent, there were fluctuations in placement, peaking at mile 10 in her division F25-29 with a place ranking of 34. Brooke's overall placement was 718 out of 2277 participants. Notably, during the latter half of the race, her pacing slightly slowed, with splits averaging around 8:24 min/mile. For future races, maintaining those faster split times later in the race could further enhance performance. An impressive steady run overall, Brooke represented team BRSK well at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon.
