Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish Max Hanich completed the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon with a consistent pace, finishing in 3:13:00. Throughout the race, Max maintained an average pace of 7:21 min/mile. His performance notable for its consistency, with slight fluctuations in pace that demonstrated both endurance and strategy, such as a gradual negative split progression from miles 1 to 10 where the pace improved from 7:36 to 7:27 min/mile. The second half of the marathon showcased Max's ability to maintain a steady cadence, with splits consistently hovering around 7:22 min/mile, ending the final mile with a remarkable 7:03 min/mile. Max placed 267th overall out of 2277 participants, securing 45th place in his division.
