Consistent Pacing Leads to Strong Finish Christian Guirguis delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. With an overall time of 2:39:13, Christian maintained a consistent pace of 6:04 min/mile throughout the 26.2-mile course, securing 8th place overall out of 2,277 participants. Notably, Christian placed 8th in the male category and 3rd in his division (M30-34). Christian showcased a remarkable ability to sustain his pace while progressively improving his position, particularly in the later stages of the race. Starting with a pace of 6:23 min/mile for the first two miles, Christian improved his splits as the race progressed. The fastest mile split was recorded at mile 17, with a time of 5:56. This finishing strength helped him ascend through the ranks, ultimately placing well within his division. To further enhance performance, continuing to build on the ability to execute a negative split strategy in future races could yield even stronger results. Congratulations on a remarkable race!
