Steady Pacing and Strong Finish Chris Duran demonstrated consistency throughout the "2025 Mountains 2 Beach" Half Marathon with an overall time of 2:16:00 and an average pace of 10:22 minutes per mile. Chris maintained a tight range of paces between 9:40 and 10:10 per mile over the first ten miles, showcasing strong pacing skills. Notably, Chris's first mile at 9:40 pace was the fastest split, indicating a brisk start. In terms of split times, mile 11 saw a slight slow-down with a pace of 11:53, and mile 12 followed closely behind at a pace of 12:16. This area might be worth focusing on in future training, possibly looking into techniques to maintain speed in the latter portions of the race. Overall, Chris finished 888th out of 1697 participants and 84th in the M30-34 division, which demonstrates a commendable performance within his age group.
