Consistent Early Splits, Opportunity in Later Miles Shangyin Tan maintained a solid pace in the early miles of the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Marathon. He consistently achieved a pace between 9:27-9:45 min/mile through the first 14 miles. Notably, he improved his split times at miles 4-6, clocking 9:33, 9:27, and 9:27 respectively. A standout moment was mile 5, finishing with a strong 9:27 pace. His position ranged around 746th in his gender and 118th in the M25-29 division.
