Goldilocks founder Dani Lassiter, a passionate cyclist, had a dream to create a bike event that was ‘just right’ for every woman.
She aimed to take the intimidation out of the sport so women of every skill level could share the joy of cycling.
In 2010, the first women-only, non-competitive Goldilocks Ride was born in Salt Lake City.
Goldilocks popularity grew quickly, and she responded by adding events in Boise and Las Vegas (more cities to come).
Goldilocks promotes a culture of friendship and camaraderie. For beginning cyclists there is much to learn about apparel, equipment, rules, safety etc.
Goldilocks creates local classes that join beginners with expert riders and bike technicians so every participant can take part in advancing the sport of cycling among women.
