Consistent Effort with a Slight Decline Joe demonstrated a strong start and maintained an impressive pace during the first four miles of the 2025 Bridge to Brews 10K. His initial split at the first mile was 6:46 minutes, holding steady around 6:40 minutes per mile for the first three miles. This consistent pace initially placed him in the top 10 overall, with notable standings in his age division (M35-39). Despite a promising start, the final miles showed a slight decrease in pace with a notable shift during the fifth mile to 8:24 minutes per mile. Subsequently, his overall time was 43:45, which came to a 7:03 average pace. This placed him in 18th place overall out of 934 participants. Compared to the previous year, the overall time increased by 35 seconds. Maintaining his strong start beyond the fourth mile could significantly improve future results. Keep up the determination, Joe!
